SPACE CREATOR BAND does not fit comfortably into any one musical genre.  Our style incorporates elements from many different arenas  -  rock, classical, jam, world, blues, pop, ambient, rap, alternative, metal, bluegrass, folk, jazz, funk, hip-hop, reggae, soul, dance, country, psychedelic, fusion, house, etc.

SPACE CREATOR BAND does not tell the same story every song.  Our lyrical adventures are quite diverse and moving  -  life, death, outer space, the earth, individuals, societies, problems, solutions, dreams, creativity, history, future, truth, lies, spirituality, religion, good, evil, love, hate, sex, drugs and rock-n-roll, etc.

SPACE CREATOR BAND
is from North Carolina.  Ben lives in Raleigh, Gus in Fayetteville and Roj in Rockingham.

The three of us met in Pembroke, NC in 1996 and immediately began writing, performing and recording our own original songs.

The three of us played together with other musicians in various collaborations throughout the hills of North Carolina during the last decade - (Apparent Freedom, Pecker's Band, Rizing Khind, Falcon Band).  We also did projects apart throughout the years (Mr. Green, Skracht Apple, One Short Guy, Ozone), but always wrote and recorded together.

We have unlimited creativity and are highly productive.  SPACE CREATOR BAND wrote and recorded over 110 songs in 2009.  We all love to play guitar, bass, ukelele, cuatro, baglama, mandolin, bouzouki, drums, percussion, keyboards, synthesizer, ocarina, harmonica, banjo, hang drum, and more.  There are also alot of "
home-made" sounds on our BOX SET.

Sign-up for our mailing list at our website and you can download some great music for FREE!  Additional material is available for download at our website as well.

There is a brief list of our songs at our website.  We have a "catalog" of well over 300 songs.  Over 120 songs are available at our website for preview and download.  It is no stretch to say that most of these songs have had no avenue for exposure, UNTIL NOW !  We just set up our own
website in February 2010, so we can now open up to the world the material we have been working so hard on.  We hope everyone enjoys our songs!

The lyrics to at least 50 of our songs are listed at our website.  When you click on the page you will see that we have placed links in each of the songs - this is to give everyone some insight into our inspiration/subject matter for
each song.  We are excited to be able to highlight our creative process on our website!

We are interested in incorporating our music into other media such as tv, documentary, video games, print and film, and we are open to writing material for other people and collaborating with other artists.

We have a considerable amount of artwork on
display at our website.  We are all artists and work in mediums other than music including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpting, textiles, printmaking, writing poetry, writing stories, etc.

No upcoming tours.  We are currently busy with everyday life, family, friends, trying to make ends meet and working hard to take SPACE CREATOR BAND to the next level.

We have several videos on our website including our newest video "Mega-Rule Invasion
".  We are happy to be able to release some home videos of us casually jamming around the house on acoustic guitars & to give listeners an inside look at our creative process.

THANK YOU
